Hello!

With over 25 years in the nonprofit sector in Indianapolis, and as a seasoned grantmaker and community investment strategist, I bring a deep commitment to enhancing the well-being of residents in my city and state. My diverse skill set, developed through roles as an independent artist, nonprofit founder, administrator, board member, educator, venue manager, and grantmaker provide me with a deep understanding as to what it means to be both grantee and grantor, and with insight that will guide me to ensure a healthy, relationship-centered approach to our non-profit community-focused work. I am a vocal arts advocate and deeply passionate about the importance of the arts in the life of society. I believe in an anti-racist, inclusive, and empathic use of art and theatre to advance human flourishing. I continue to look for new opportunities to help grow our sector in Indianapolis.

My mission is to help foster a fertile environment for the arts and non-profits to flourish in my home of Indianapolis.

In addition to my work, I am a husband and father, which are by far my favorite roles. I love traveling, spending time out in nature taking hikes, drawing with my daughter, and drinking lots of coffee. Check out the other pages here in my portfolio and resumes to learn more about the work I have done in the past as an administrator, educator, and artist.
